He cites the theme from Spiderman, “with great power comes great responsibility”. The gist of the article is elegantly summed up by this quote —
It’s very simple: “with great power comes great responsibility…” And he doesn’t want the responsibility, so he tries to get rid of the power.
Isn’t that the plot of Spiderman 2?
And Superman 2 as well, but apparently the lessons of those movies didn’t penetrate.
