Dropping the NATO hammer

The NATO Secretary General, George Robertson, has dropped the hammer on NATO by putting preparations for the invasion of Iraq under the "silent procedure". This means that the preparations become NATO policy by 09:00 GMT Monday unless an explicit objection is raised. That's quite the rock and a hard place for the Axis of Weasel.
